FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

It’s time to file your FAFSA!  As soon as you get your tax information, you can file this application.  It is the basis for most need-based aid such as PELL & MAP grants.  All seniors are encouraged to complete one.  Paper applications are no longer available to schools, but you can get a copy if you call 1-800-4-FED-AID or by visiting www.edpubs.org.  The preferred method is to file online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  Only a set amount of money is allocated for these programs, so don’t get left out--file as soon as possible!
