It’s time to file your FAFSA! As soon as you get your tax information,
you can file this application. It
is the basis for most need-based aid such as PELL & MAP grants. All seniors are encouraged to complete
one. Paper applications are no
longer available to schools, but you can get a copy if you call 1-800-4-FED-AID
or by visiting www.edpubs.org. The preferred method is to file online
at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Only a set amount of money is allocated
for these programs, so don’t get left out--file as soon as possible!
Run
a scholarship search on FastWeb at www.fastweb.com
to locate scholarships that might be available to you. It requires you to fill out information
about your interests, activities, etc., and they will e-mail a list of possible
scholarships with directions on how to apply for them. Best of all, it’s FREE!!
