November Teacher Spotlight--Hannah Raver
This is Hannah's first year of teaching in the St. Elmo school district. She is the High School science teacher, and she also serves as the Scholar Bowl coach.
Hannah is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, and she says that she knew she wanted to be a teacher from the time she was in 3rd grade. The best advice she has ever been given is: "Luck comes from hard work." In her free time, she likes to spend time with her girls and to go fishing. A random fact about Hannah--she has a pet turtle named Ralph that lives in her classroom.
