January Teacher Spotlight--Leigh Anne Walk.
Leigh Anne has been teaching at St. Elmo for 31 years, 19 of which have been at the JH/HS. She lives in the St. Elmo area with her husband. She has 3 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 4 grandchildren.
Mrs. Walk says that the best advice she has been given is from her mother ("They can't ask for more than your best.") Her favorite quote is, "Comparison is the thief of joy." (T. Roosevelt)
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandkids. A little-known fact about Mrs. Walk is that she worked as a telephone operator during college.
