St. Elmo High School will be hosting an IHSA Girls Volleyball Sectional on November 3 and November 5. IHSA requires the use of GO FAN ticketing for this sectional volleyball tournament. This Friday and Saturday is the St. Elmo Drama Departments production of “Mayhem at Vandersnoot Mansion.” The show is at 7:30pm with the doors opening at 7:00pm. Admission is $5 dollars at the door. Come out and support these wonderful students!

The St Elmo Ag Department would like to thank Trey Melton, 2026 graduate of Greenville High School and current student of the Lincoln Land Community College Electrical Distribution Lineman Program for speaking on the opportunities of a career as a lineman. Trey spoke on several topics throughout his presentation to help prepare students that are interested in a career as a lineman. He also highlighted what to look for when completing your first application for a job, importance of looking at the benefits packages offered as well as the salary and the day to day job responsibilities that come with being a lineman.

Red Ribbon Week
The St. Elmo FFA is holding their 6th Annual St. Elmo FFA Trick or Can event. FFA members will deliver plastic bags throughout the St. Elmo community on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm so please be on the lookout as they will be placed on the porch/front door of homes. If able, please fill bags with non-perishable food items that will be donated to the St. Elmo Food Pantry as we start to get into the holiday season. Place filled bags back on the porch/front door on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 by 4:00 pm.
St. Elmo FFA members will be there to pick up between the hours of 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm on the 27th.

Addison Koonce reached the milestone of 500 assists for Eagles Volleyball
A HUGE thank you to our community helpers!! We are so grateful to our local Police Department, Sheriff's Department, and Fire Department for taking time out of their busy schedules to spend the morning with our students!
Congratulations to the St Elmo FFA Soils Judging Team for their 1st Place Overall finish today in the Section 19 Land Use CDE! They rocked it once again! We had 5 members in the Top 10 Individuals with Calvin Voelker finishing 1st Place Overall by 65 points over his opponents. Other Top 10 members from St Elmo FFA were Alexis Holliday, Dayana Haslett, Miles Moore and Caden Stewart.
The St Elmo FFA JV Team also finished strong with a second place finish. All 3 of the team members finished in the Top 10 with Sam Wilhour finishing 3rd Place Overall, Dawson Engeljohn finishing 7th, and Cami Haslett finishing 8th Place Overall!
Super proud of all the hard work with this Land Use Team. They will now advance to the state competition held on Wednesday, October 14th in Bradford,IL hosted by Black Hawk College.
