Congratulations to the St Elmo FFA for bringing home the 1st place win at the Illinois State FFA Land Use CDE on Wednesday, October 11th at Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, IL. Lowell Wilhour finished 3rd Place Overall individually and Lane Stine finished 8th Place Overall individually. Team members included Lowell Wilhour, Lane Stine, Anna Stine and Wade Stine. We could not be more proud of the hard work and dedication these young individuals have put into representing our FFA chapter, school district and community!

Congratulations to the St Elmo FFA Land Use CDE team for their second place overall finish at the Section 19 Land Use CDE held via Kaskaskia College. Team members included Cami Wilhour, Dayana Wilhour, Kinley Carson, Lane Stine, Jack Wilhour, Anna Stine, Lowell Wilhour and Wade Stine. Wade Stine, Lowell Wilhour and Anna Stine all finished in the top 10 as individuals. The team will now advance to the State Land Use CDE competition on Wednesday, October 11th at Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, IL.

The St Elmo FFA would like to thank the following supporters of the 2nd Annual St Elmo FFA Jacket Sponsor Program as the FFA was able to provide FFA jackets and a tie/scarf for all 18 first year FFA members: Post Oak Portraits, Walker Grain & Livestock, Loy’s Construction Extreme Spray Foam, J&C Ag Repair LLC, Joe & Jeanette Forbes, Chad & Monica Wilhour, and the Bruce Austin Memorial. The supporters will be recognized and honored at the Annual St Elmo FFA Banquet held in the Spring.

Lane Stine attended the District IV STAR Conference on Thursday, September 14th at Lake Land College. Lane is currently serving as a member of the 2023-2024 Section 19 FFA Officer Team as the Section 19 FFA Treasurer.
