I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new principal for St. Elmo Elementary! I can hardly wait to meet each of you and become a part of this wonderful community.
A bit about me: I was born and raised in Vandalia, IL. I live on a farm with my husband, Gordon, and my son, Bradyn. We share our home with 12 horses and enjoy spending our weekends working on our property, watching movies, and dining out. I have a passion for audiobooks, creativity, home décor, and most importantly, sharing laughter with friends and family.
I am genuinely excited to kick off this school year and see all the students' bright faces. Our team has been working hard to prepare for the new year, and we are eager to start this journey together.

Info. for Boys interested in playing on the H.S. Golf Team (hosted by Altamont). Both the boy and his parent will need to attend the parent/player meeting on Tuesday, July 23rd at 6pm in the ACHS Tech Room (across from the Altamont H.S. Gym entrance).
Online registration will open on Monday, July 15, 2024. You can access online registration through your parent portal access. On August 1, 2024, there will be an in-person registration from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the High School cafeteria.
BSE Jr. High Baseball Conditioning starts July 22nd-24th from 5:00-7:00pm at the JH Baseball Field. This is for 6th, 7th, & 8th graders. The Parent Meeting will be July 24th immediately following conditioning starting at 7:00pm at the field. If your child is planning on playing this fall, they need to make sure they are attending conditioning and the parent meeting. They also need to have a current physical on file with their home school and pay the $50 athletic fee to their home school secretary.
