Congratulations to Luke Loy & Macey Sapp for finishing 2nd Place Overall in the Section 19 FFA Proficiency Awards . Loy received 2nd place overall with his record book in the area of Rabbit Production and Sapp received 2nd place overall with her record book in the area of Diversified Livestock Production, which consists of her books in the areas of Poultry Production & Swine Production.
Congratulations to Lane Stine and Lowell Wilhour for advancing to the District IV FFA Proficiency Awards with their recordbooks. Stine advanced in the area of Diversified Agriculture Production with his recordbooks in Grain Production, Fiber/Oil Crop, Beef Placement and Beef Entrepreneurship. Wilhour advanced with his recordbook in the area of Fiber/Oil Crop Production. District IV Proficiency Awards will be held on March 6th at Mt Zion High School.

Congratulations to the FFA Public Speaking Team of Caden Stewart, Callie Ledbetter, and Wade Stine. Ledbetter advanced to the finals in the Creed and finished 4th overall. Wade Stine finished 1st place overall in the Prepared Public Speaking division with his speech titled "Illinois Nuclear Moratorium and Its Effect on Agriculture." The next competition will be at the district level hosted by Monticello High School on May 6, 2025.
